A Leading Supplier of Post Tension Cable

The Conco Companies continue to grow our operations by upgrading and expanding facilities and equipment as well as our geographic footprint.  With two large rebar fabrication and post tensioning facilities; we are able to serve customers throughout Northern California, Southern California, Washington, Oregon and Colorado.  As an industry leader, Conco’s high-quality post tensioning cable meets all engineering specification and requirements.

Conco has assembled a highly skilled professional staff along with the specialized tools required to expertly fabricate, assemble, and install PT cable.  Our team utilizes all of the state-of-the-art industry technologies including building informational modeling (BIM).

There are many situations where post tensioned concrete is called for and it offers all the same benefits and characteristics as reinforced concrete and then some.  A common use of post tensioned concrete is in a project that requires thinner slabs or in circumstances where a greater span length is desired between support columns.  Slabs and other structural members can be constructed thinner, and by using less concrete, it helps to reduce the overall weight of a structure.  In addition post tensioning reduces or eliminates shrinkage cracking.

Not only is Conco a leading supplier of post tensioning cables, but we also are experts at installation when a project calls for it.  Just last summer we assisted on the repair of 32 anchor rods on the eastern span of the new Bay Bridge in San Francisco, CA.   The anchor rods were used to secure the steel bridge deck framing to a concrete crossbeam support at the east end of the pier “E2″.  Conco assisted on a permanent fix that involved a complex series of steel saddles and post-tensioned jacket walls that were used to provide the required clamping force to secure the bridge deck framing to the E2 crossbeam.

Conco is a leading supplier of concrete services for the Western United States with four regional offices serving Washington, California, Oregon, Nevada and Colorado. We got our start in the Bay Area in 1959 by offering clients the best value on a wide range of concrete services and products.  Since that time, we have steadily taken a leading role as one of the top concrete contractors in the West.
